Real Madrid go into the game with a 3-1 lead

Zidane says his side are ready for the challenge

Zinedine Zidane has it clear. Real Madrid will have to overcome a number of hurdles to progress in the Champions League. They're facing a Paris Saint-Germain side that will play like it's a genuine final, convinced that they can overturn the 3-1 defeat they were dealt in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"We know we're going to suffer," Zidane said. "But we will suffer and we will play football. It will be difficult for both teams. We're used to that. What we have to do is think about the game, 11 against 11 with a referee who is going to do his job. We have to think about the game. It will be a hot atmosphere, but the ground is the ground. We're used to these things. It will be another game for us."

The coach said it can be difficult to control the elements in these type of games: "It doesn't worry me too much if they start better or us, because you can't control it. What's going to happen tomorrow, will happen. They start behind in the tie. You have to be prepared for the unpredictable. We have to produce a great performance."

Neymar's out of the game for PSG but Zidane backed his replacement, Angel Di Maria.

"Nothing changes, but everything changes," he continued. "Neymar's an exceptional player but I'm sure there will be another player [in his place] extra motivated to play well. We're facing a competitive side. We know Di Maria well. He is a spectacular player who made history with Madrid, someone who can play in any position. We know he moves well, that he's got a good shot, he's quick..."
