Zidane goes to Seville without Eden Hazard or Asensio
The coach cannot rely on the Belgian forward who is not fit to play yet this season
Belgium forward Eden Hazard and Spanish wide man Marco Asensio are not in Zinedine Zidane's squad to face Real Betis at the Villamarin on Saturday night. They join Militao and Mariano Diaz, who are out injured, while Isco Alarcon is back and Lucas Vazquez is also in the squad with youth players Marvin and Sergio Arribas dropping out.
Zidane thinks Hazard and Asensio aren't fit yet and doesn't want to force the issue. He will leave room for them to get back physically to their best. Martin Odegaard is in the squad after giving a false negative in terms of coronavirus tests.
The squad list is: Courtois, Lunin, Diego Altube, Carvajal, Odriozola, Varane, Sergio Ramos, Nacho, Marcelo, Mendy, Casemiro, Fede Valverde, Kroos, Modric, Martin Odegaard, Isco, Lucas Vázquez, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Benzema, Borja Mayoral and Jovic.
