Vinicius Junior: For me it was a brilliant year
The Brazilian Real Madrid player spoke about the season just gone
Real Madrid's Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior spoke at an event in Tokyo with the Real Madrid foundation, looking back at his year.
"I liked Tokyo a lot, it's my first time in this city and I hope to be back next year for the Olympics," said Vinicius. "It's something that I have in mind.
"It was a pity that we weren't good in any of the three big competitions, but the team just came off winning three Champions Leagues and this, unfortunately, is something that could happen. We hope that things go better next season and that the team gets back to winning ways. I'm sure we will.
"Now I need to rest, but I want the season to start already. I learned a loot. For me it was a brilliant year. I started at Castilla but I know that could happen and that's what did when I got there. After that I made it to the first team, started to play and I learned a lot."
