Santiago Solari couldn't have asked for a better start to life in Real Madrid's dugout. The Argentinian coach only needed four matches to claim his first record at the club.
Solari can now boast of having the best start a Real Madrid manager has ever had. There are various others who have won their first four matches in charge but none have done it by scoring so many goals.
Under Solari Madrid have beaten Melilla, Valladolid, Viktoria Plzen and Celta Vigo. They've scored 15 goals and conceded just two, both coming against Celta yesterday.
As it stands, everything suggests Solari will abandon his role as interim coach soon. In the next few days the Argentine's new three-year contract should be confirmed and it'll see him earn €4m per season.
