Sergio Ramos generated headlines at La Riazor on and off the pitch. During the match he became the player with the most red cards in Spanish top flight history – along with Aguado and Alfaro – and then he slipped up again when talking to the press.
“When you win a lot of trophies, your rivals start to have a lot of empathy for you,” Ramos said in the mixed zone, getting confused between empathy and antipathy. The latest slip up has already generated jokes and memes on social media and it is not the first time something like this has happened to Ramos.
