Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham in cotton wool to make Clasico

Jude Bellingham will not miss the Clásico against FC Barcelona, but he does arrive in cotton wool after finishing Tuesday's Champions League game in Braga in pain. The Englishman has not trained with the rest of his team-mates, but was in the gym in a recovery session under the supervision of the physios. The objective is that tomorrow, Friday, he will be able to train without any problems before travelling to Barcelona, where the team will await kick-off.

Ancelotti said Bellingham only ended up tired in the match against Braga, ruling out any injury despite the player feeling something in his groin in the final minutes of the game. The Englishman is aware of the overload of games and the physical effort he makes to fulfil the dual role entrusted to him by the Italian, adding to the attack when they have the ball and embedding himself in the centre of the pitch when it is the opposition who are in control of the game.

However, the player himself reassured Real Madrid fans in an interview with TVE in which he confirmed his presence at the Estadi Olímpic on Saturday 28 October and from which a brief preview snipped has been released: "I'll be at the Clásico," said Jude.

One player who trained at the same level as the rest of the squad was Arda Güler, whose return is closer and it is not even ruled out that Ancelotti could include him in the group for the Clásico. The Turkish player is facing the final stretch of his recovery from the second injury he has suffered this season, which has prevented him from making his debut for his new team. The coaching staff's instructions are not to force him and for him to strengthen his physique so that he can return with full guarantees.

Dani Ceballos was also absent from the training session, as he is suffering from quadriceps discomfort which has prevented him from playing in the last two games, Sevilla and Braga. The Andalusian will also miss Saturday's Clásico (4.15pm) and is out of the squad along with Courtois and Militao, who are still recovering from serious knee injuries suffered at the start of the season. They will be Ancelotti's only absentees for the Barcelona game.
