Real Madrid players pass their medical tests
Bale and Benzema are among the stars to go back to work
They will start the pre-season without leader Cristiano Ronaldo
Real Madrid's 2017-18 campaign got underway on Monday. Theo Hernandez passed his full medical and Dani Ceballos' transfer was negotiated, but everything else was as normal. A day before heading to LA for pre-season, the available first team players took various medical tests.
They had blood and urine analysis as well as a complete cardiological scan. Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema were among the available players, but Cristiano Ronaldo and the U21 stars were the big absences, given extra time off after their appearances in the Confederations Cup and the U21 Euros in Poland respectively.
