They have to lighten the load at the club as they set sights on Haaland and Camavinga

Real Madrid are looking at the transfer window knowing they must sell players before they buy. They have 37 and with loans it's 40 per Marca.

Madrid want Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga, and Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, but for either, they must lighten the load at the club first. The coronavirus is having an impact. There will be no signings at astronomic cost because of it. However Madrid are better off than most.

They tried to get rid of Bale and James last summer but didn't manage it. They've focused on signing young players like Rodrygo and Vinicius, who have good potential and are easy to amortize the cost of over time.

Camavinga would come as a backup for Casemiro - Madrid have no alternative - while Haaland would be the new No 9. Jovic's signing was a failure.
