Real Madrid not sure of what to do with Vinicius Jr
In principle he will alternate between youth squad and first team
Real Madrid have been putting hope in Vinicius Jr since signing him as a 16 year old. They had to wait til he was 18 to join, in which time they have looked after him with a special plan while he was at Flamengo. In two years he has grown but his move to Madrid might end up holding up his growth as a footballer and person.
Vinicius wanted to stay at Flamengo but Madrid had other plans. The idea was to bring him to European football as soon as possible to adjust. Vinicius will stay training with the firs team, where he will get minutes when Julen Lopetegui considers it right, and also play for Castilla in Segunda B. However the previous example of that with Martin Odegaard didn't work so well. That is making the club doubt if they are going the right way - or perhaps shoud loan him out. A logical doubt, but the player wants to stay at Madrid now.
