Zinedine Zidane has given his Real Madrid squad holiday for one week ahead of the Champions League return. The French coach's team faces Man City on August 7 as they try to turn around a 2-1 home defeat.
Madrid players won La Liga with 10 wins in 10 games before drawing with Leganes, and after this week of holiday will have 11 days to prepare for the clash with Man City.
They will have more rest after that if they are eliminated ahead of the next season, or they will carry on to the final eight in Lisbon.
