Los Blancos are ready to beat Man City to the punch for the Birmingham boy

Jude Bellingham will be one of the summer’s most sought after players. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has decided to leave the Bundesliga, ready to take a step up to a top club. In England they say Real Madrid are close to signing the youngster for 120 million euros, beating out Man City, the other side who want him.

The Sun say Bellingham is not prioritising a record salary at the moment but instead the ideal destination to continue his career. His people have spoken to Liverpool, United and City but not reached any deals.

Madrid have been speaking to Bellingham for months, and are in the process of renewing their midfield. Last summer Casemiro left, Kroos might go at the end of this season, while Modric is nearing retirement. Madrid want at least one top level midfielder and Bellingham is the chosen one.

The club paid 80m euros for Tchouameni and are confident in their Bellingham bet after a fine World Cup.

Madrid are working in silence after what happened last summer with Mbappe.
