Once again, the Belgian international's professionalism is being called into question after starting preseason looking out of shape

Preseason has only just started and already Real Madrid are concerned about Eden Hazard. After spending €160m to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu, not the originally reported €100m, photos of Hazard on holiday have caused many Madrid fans to believe their 'Galactico' is out of shape. After travelling with Belgium - and not playing a single minute - Roberto Martinez confirmed that Hazard "wasn't fit enough" to feature in either of their matches. This brings about the question of why he didn't just stay in Madrid to work on his fitness.

It's caused many to believe Hazard isn't showing the required commitment to turn his situation around at Madrid. The club feel Hazard should have stayed at the club and worked alongside the fitness coach Gregory Dupont. Madrid are also unhappy at the fact Martinez called up Hazard rather than leaving him to build up fitness ahead of the new season.

VINICIUS TO START, HAZARD ON THE BENCH

Hazard is going to need two or three weeks to reach the same level as his teammates. Now supporters are keen for Vinicius to be given a chance to establish himself in the starting XI whilst Hazard makes do with a backup roll. The Brazilian is delighted to begin his third season at the club and has shown glimpses of his quality over the last few months.

Real Madrid's most expensive player continues to be a disappointment. Injuries have played their part in his underwhelming start to life in Spain but even when he has featured, he's been a shadow of the player who took the Premier League by storm. Hazard, 29, earns €14m per season and if things don't turn around soon, it looks like his stay in Madrid won't last much longer.
