Pepe close to signing for Besiktas
The player travelled to Turkey on Tuesday
The deal could be sealed in the next few hours
Pepe, the ex-Real Madrid Portuguese central defender, arrived in Istanbul this Tuesday to sign a contract with Besiktas according to reports from CNN and the newspaper Hürriyet in Turkey.
Hürriyet report that the current Turkish champions have been able to iron out the final details of the Portuguese’s contract and will sign the defender. According to the sport newspaper Fanatik, Pepe will sign a two year contract with an option for a third year and will earn €4.5 million per year.
