OK Diario: Arsenal's 'irresistable' offer for Lucas Vázquez
Arsenal, under new coach Unai Emery, have made Lucas Vázquez their number one target this summer
Arsenal have set their sights on Real Madrid's midfielder, Lucas Vazquez, and are willing to offer him a contract which will be difficult for the player to turn down. Arsenal, according to 'OK Diario', are searching for a player with the characteristics of Lucas Vazquez and are willing to offer him an €8m per season contract, an amount considerably higher than the €3m he currently earns at Real Madrid.
The biggest problem Arsenal are going to find is that Real Madrid value the performances and work rate of Vazquez and aren't going to let him leave without a fight. It's worth remembering that the player's existing deal runs until 2021.
Unai Emery, the current coach at Arsenal, is in the progress of planning the squad ahead of his first season in charge at the London club. Emery wants to surround himself with the best players and his objective at the moment is Lucas Vazquez, who is currently at the World Cup with Spain.
