Former Madrid player Paul Breitner thinks the deal has been done

Paul Breitner, who played for Real Madrid in the 1970s, surprised with some explosive comments in reference to Neymar's future next season.

The German, who was the ambassador of the 2012 Chmapions League final in 2012, thinks a transfer to Real Madrid is done.

Speaking on German channel Sport 1, he said of the Paris Saint-Germain forward: "He will ne an important player next year at Real Madrid."

Neymar has never completely adapted to life in Paris following his world record move from Barcelona last summer and there have been constant rumours about a return to Spain.

The Brazil star is one of Madrid chief Florentiono Perez's obsessions. He tried to sign him before Barça got to him and has also made several attempts to lure him to the Bernabeu since.

If Breitner is right, Perez may finally land the man he has coveted for so long this summer.
