Chelsea defy Real Madrid and have Eden Hazard model next season's shirt
The English club have released images of their home shirt for the 2019-2020 season and Hazard features prominantly
The Cold War finished years about but a new one has begun in the world of football. It isn't between the United States and the Soviet Union but between two cash-rich teams. Where will Eden Hazard be playing next season? That's the big question Chelsea and Real Madrid fans are asking themselves. The Belgian is expected to leave London in the summer to join Zinedine Zidane's revolution. It's the player's dream move too. This is complicated by the fact Chelsea are currently under a transfer ban.
Whilst the battle for Hazard continues, Chelsea are continuing as normal. As they present their new home shirt for the 2019/20 season, the person at the front of the campaign is none other than Hazard. No doubt this will cause some people in Madrid to worry about whether the move will happen or not. It might be Chelsea's last attempt at trying to convince Hazard he should stay for at least one more campaign.
