Careful! Real Madrid players sent off in Club World Cup miss Clasico
They will be punished in the next Spanish league game
In 2012 Chelsea's Cahill was dismissed and he missed a game against Leeds as a result
Real Madrid, as well as trying to win the Club World Cup, have a second job too - not getting anybody suspended for the Clasico. If any of their players gets a red card, the punishment will be served in their next official match. Madrid's next match after the Club World Cup is the Clasico, on December 23.
There is precedent. Gary Cahill was sent off in the Club World Cup final against Corinthians and had to serve his suspension in the next game, a league cup game against Leeds United.
