BBC: Gareth Bale deal to China breaks down
They say Real Madrid have called off the deal to take the Welshman away
Gareth Bale's move to Jiangsu Suning in the Chinese Super League has broken down, per the BBC and Sky Sports as well as other media. They say Real Madrid have stopped the move and his agent Jonathan Barnett also asked for the move to be stopped because the player's family has no interest in living in China.
On Friday Madrid and Jiangsu reached a deal for Bale, who would have a a contract of 22 million euros net a season, bu the deal has fallen to pieces. The Chinese transfer window shuts on July 31 and the Premier League a few days later, meaning Bale may end up staying in the Spanish capital.
