Even the Madrid media had to admit that Messi's brilliance had shone through
Lionel Messi's goal in the 92nd minute of the Clasico breathed life back into Barcelona's title challenge, giving them a 3-2 win over Real Madrid and moving them to the top of the table.
It was an exhibition from the Argentine, who had also scored Barça's first goal. He was also the subject of constant fouls from Casemiro, an elbow from Marcelo and a two-footed challenge from Sergio Ramos that saw the Madrid defender sent off.
After all that, it was little wonder Messi celebrated his goal with such venom.
