Real Madrid ready to smash down 200m on Mbappe

| sport

Kylian Mbappé's statement that he does not intend to renew his contract beyond 30 June 2024 has once again opened Pandora’s Box. Although the player has assured that he has no intention of leaving Paris this summer and that he will honour his one-year contract, the rumours about his future continue to multiply. Real Madrid are on the lookout to sign the Frenchman.

According to l'Équipe, Real Madrid are ready to put 200 million euros on the table to sign Kylian Mbappé in this summer transfer window and not wait until his contract expires in 2024. The Frenchman is an absolute desire of Florentino Pérez and the madridistas, who see him as the galactico of the new Los Blancos project.

L'Équipe reports that Real Madrid are waiting for the player to force his exit or for PSG to officially put him up for sale before sending the final offer, which will be 200m for a player who could arrive the following year with a letter of freedom under his arm.

We will first see what PSG decide to do, whether to let the Frenchman finish his contract with the Parisian club or whether they prefer to sell him and make some cash to build a project without him. We will also have to see what Mbappé wants to do, who for the moment has made it clear that he wants to stay one more year in Paris and then decide his future. He will be one of the big names in this market.
