Neymar scored a penalty but PSG dropped points for the first time this season

Paris Saint-Germain slipped up on Sunday, held to a 1-1 draw by Monaco to leave them level with Marseille and Lens on 10 points at the top of the Ligue 1 table.

It could have been worse but for a penalty won and scored by Neymar in the 70th minute to cancel out Kevin Volland's opener.

However, as PSG chased the game at the Parc des Princes, the big talking point came when Christophe Galtier decided to take Lionel Messi off for Pablo Sarabia before the 90 minutes were up.

The Argentine was withdrawn in the 87th minute and, as he arrived on the bench, it looked as if he did not understand his coach's decision.
