Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi Simons is out of contract with Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and has not yet renewed with the French club.
The huge array of stars at PSG are holding back his progression, although he did feature against Lyon at the weekend as the Ligue 1 leaders make their play to keep him.
However, with Mino Raiola as his agent, he will have no shortage of offers if he does run down his contract in the French capital this summer.
Barça have even been linked with a move for the youngster but the latest team to be mentioned with a swoop for Simons are Scottish side Glasgow Rangers.
According to the Daily Record, Rangers could give him the minutes he needs to take his game to the next level and put him in the shop window for a bigger move in the future.
