The one condition Luis Enrique wanted to sign for PSG

After months of strong rumours, Luis Enrique became the new coach of PSG. The Spanish coach has taken the reins of a renewed project with the aim of winning the Champions League for the first time in the history of the French club.

At first, the Parisian side appeared to have everything 'tied up' for Julian Nagelsmann to coach the team, but eventually it went awry and the Asturian became the first choice.

PSG Community journalist Max Miotto has reported that Luis Enrique accepted the job from the beginning, although he imposed one condition for signing on.

According to this information, the former Spain coach wanted to have total control over the players who could form his team. He only demanded to come and be able to select his players.

Despite this condition, Luis Enrique said that if Messi or Neymar had to leave, it would not be a problem. In contrast, his stance on Kylian Mbappé was more ambiguous, as he appeared to be counting on the French star even though his future at PSG is by no means assured.
