The PSG owner says the club is not for sale but a percentage could be

The newspaper L'Équipe recently revealed that an American investment fund has positioned itself to buy a percentage of the capital of Paris-Saint-Germain, between 10 and 15%.

And on TalkSport, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi publicly acknowledged for the first time that this could happen.

"People always talk about PSG, thinking that we only have money to spend," he said. "It's not true. We put €70 million into the club. Today, it's worth more than €4 billion. As I said, we have different buy-back offers. It's good business, a fantastic deal. A $4 billion takeover offer? More than $4 billion of course. But we're not going to sell the club. But why not sell a small percentage of the club? We're thinking of different offers actually. We are not going to sell PSG, but we are considering different offers."

With the last three years in the red and the losses that should continue this year, QSI could open up to the possibility of admitting another investor to repurchase PSG shares, now valued at €3 billion euros according to the latest study by Forbes.

To buy between 10 and 15% of the club, therefore, it would be necessary to have around €300 million euros as a minimum, which reduces the number of candidates, even if several of them are analysing the situation carefully.
