PSG, the alternative destination for Philippe Coutinho
The Parisian club wanted to bring in the playmaker previously
The Daily Mirror say that Philippe Coutinho could head to PSG, which are one of the few clubs who can afford to sign the Barcelona midfielder. They wanted him back in the day with Neymar trying to convince his compatriot to sign when he left Liverpool, but the Brazilian preferred to accept Barcelona's offer.
PSG would be an option if Kylian Mbappe left the club this summer, although the French forward is a key piece of the project and the club's Qatari owners have no intention of selling - despite Real Madrid's interest.
WHATSAPP MESSAGES
Neymar tried to bring Coutinho to Paris by bombarding him with Whatsapp messages. Three years later and his time at Camp Nou is up, with the player on loan at Bayern Munich. The Bavarian side have no intention of making the deal permanent so Barcelona are looking for a new destination. They are discussing a loan with Chelsea.
