Tottenham interested in signing Barca target De Jong
The Catalans are expecting him to come to Camp Nou next summer
Tottenham are interested in Barcelona target Frenkie De Jong to reinforce the midfield, say the Sunday Express. After Barcelona could not bring him in this summer, Spurs scouts have fixed their eyes on the Ajax man.
The 21 year old Dutch international has shone in Amsterdam and is gathering attention. The club closest to signing him was Barca but in the end Ajax will not negotiate. The player wants to join Barca and may do next summer.
Now Tottenham are getting involved, and it would be not be a surprise if other clubs wanted to join the race too.
