Chelsea considering spending big on Madrid's James Rodriguez

The future of James Rodriguez is still in the air. Zinedine Zidane said he will stay at Real Madrid at the start of pre-season but it has become clear that he is at the back of the queue in midfield for Madrid. With Modric and Kroos lacking fitness, Zidane went for Isco and Marco Asensio in the Super Cup instead of the Colombian.

Arsenal have been linked with the star but it seems Chelsea are more interested. They have money to spend and according to information in England, would be willing to spend up to 90 million euros on James Rodriguez. Chelsea have bought Batshuayi and N'Golo Kante so far this summer, with Antonio Conte looking to add a creative player and a defender.
