El fracaso del PSG, el fracaso de Neymar
El fracaso del PSG, el fracaso de Neymar | sport

He left Barcelona to make a mint and, in theory, relaunch his career as the leader of the team that would eat everyone else up. Neymar decided to leave Barcelona by the back door, thinking that in Paris he would be happy because they would make him a project that he could conquer Europe with. His people got into his head to convince him he could only be the best in the world if he got out of the shadow of Messi. But right now, the only thing he can be satisifed about is his current account. Was it worth it, to move, to cover himself in gold?

PSG have shown they aren't capable. It's hard to understanad it, after so much money invested (or badly invested, rather), but they are only capable of winning in their country. In Europe they are decaffinated. The owners' rage should be huge because the sensation is that they are taking the piss. This PSG has been derailed just by Neymar's injury and like that it's impossible to construct anything seriously. They have not been, they are not, and they don't look like being one of Europe's giants.

With this new failure, we'll have to see how Neymar reacts. The Brazilian now knows he will not win the Champions League with PSG, nor the Ballon d'Or, unless he leads Brazil to World Cup glory. His career has gone backwards and, recovering from his injury now, he has a dilemma. Getting PSG to surround him with more stars, or jumping off the boat as soon as possible. And it would be nothing strange if his next destination was Madrid. At the Bernabeu they need a young star and Florentino will pay a lot. Ney has not made good decisions and it could sink him as a player and even as a brand.
