Real Madrid have dealt two blows to Barcelona in 24 hours. They have leapt in to get ahead in the race to sign Vinicius Jr, the jewel of Brazilian football, and taken a definitive step forward to sign Theo Hernandez.

The former will be a crazy signing of 61 million euros for a player who is yet to debut in the top flight, the second is an unequivocal sign that the defender prefers to play for Madrid than Barcelona.

Here there are problems because Madrid were more agile and faster than Barcelona. The club's sports department should be self critical because they already had planning problems in the basketball team and now they are on the way to having them in football.

Barcelona cannot afford to be at this disadvantage. In April you have to start tackling the signings and we are in May with nothing sealed.
