Marc-Andre ter Stegen helps Barcelona forget Claudio Bravo

Luis Enrique and Robert Fernandez had a big problem last season. Ter Stegen wanted to leave Barcelona. He did not want to be Claudio Bravo's substitute in La Liga. The German asked the club look at the offers that arrived to Aristides Maillol street for him. Pep Guardiola wanted Ter Stegen more than he wanted Claudio Bravo.

However, Luis Enrique and Robert Fernandez were able to calm him down and made him see that at his age it would be too soon to be the starting goalkeeper for Barcelona, and that he was going to have a long career at Camp Nou. For this, and also because of Bravo's age and the fee, Barcelona let the Chilean go and kept Ter Stegen under lock and key. Time, something in football which is relative, ended up painting a curious picture - Bravo is not convincing in Manchester and Ter Stegen, apart from the Celta Vigo game, is working out perfectly.
