Eduardo Inda is Florentino Perez’s puppet. The director of OK Diario has been singled out by Gerard Pique as the chief manipulator used by the Real Madrid president to try and destabilise Barcelona. The central defender’s words could not have been clearer on Tuesday. Inda has been revealed, as they would say on the programme he appears on and which he uses for many of his attacks against Barça and their players. 

Inda sadly became famous during his time as the director of Marca for radicalising the Madrid newspaper to unthinkable extremes. The journalist overstepped the mark when, in a video blog, he said that Messi has to be stopped “civilly or criminally”, with the intention of violence never before seen in even the most Madrid-leaning press. Now, from OK Diario and El Chringuito with Josep Pedrerol, he continues to stir up things to do with Barça. From Neymar to Bartomeu, via, of course, Pique, who he insulted. And always without reason… 

Gerard Pique doesn’t bite his tongue. He’s demonstrated that throughout his career. Sometimes, even, it has come back to bite him. But he’s always been one of the great defenders (if not the only one at times) that Barça have had in the dressing room (and in the club) against the constant and disproportionate attacks from the Madrid media cavern.
