Barcelona are in the hands of Bernardo Silva

The unexpected departure of Ousmane Dembélé has revolutionised the market a week before the start of La Liga and less than a month before the market closes. It was the most unwanted sale due to the marginal profit it would leave, but the Mbappé earthquake ended up taking the French winger to PSG, leaving the team lacking quality in attacking positions. 

Xavi and the sporting department have made a clear analysis and are going to gamble on signing Bernardo Silva in an act of faith that has little chance of succeeding. It's all going to be in the hands of a player who has never hidden his desire to play for Barça, but whose price tag is beyond the current economic possibilities of the Blaugrana.

Barça have clearly explained the situation to Bernardo Silva and his entourage and are going to attempt an operation in which Manchester City will have to do their bit. It is very difficult to materialise, but not impossible. Because footballers, in the end, end up playing where they want despite being slaves to their contracts. 

If the Portuguese takes a step forward and asks to leave, as is his wish, anything can happen. It is an almost kamikaze action, but if this board has shown anything, it is that it is not afraid of anything to try to defend the interests of the club. And they are going to fight for it.

It is clear that Barça are working on different scenarios with or without Bernardo Silva and the team will be reinforced at the front and at the back. Next week positive things will happen regarding the club's finances and there will be a small salary margin to act. This is going to be a long time coming and Barça are not giving up on improving their squad despite the departure of Dembélé. 

What is clear here is that there is a lack of goals and X factor on the right flank. It is likely that two players will arrive, and there will be a squad to try to fight for everything. There are some interesting days coming up in the market and absolutely anything can happen.
