Barcelona, cup finalists thanks to D10S (and Jasper Cillessen)

There is only one D10S and he is called Messi. He works miracles at every stadium. And his commandments are magic football and goals. On Tuesday he worked his magic again at Camp Nou and got Barcelona into the final of the Copa del Rey. Luis Suarez scored the goal but Messi invented it, with a decisive dribble to cut through Atletico who had Barcelona under the cosh.

Jasper Cillessen's many saves and Messi's moment were the best parts of a first half that will go down in history for the poor showing from Luis Enrique's side. Without a midfield (Busquets and Iniest an the bench), Atletico were superior by far. They ate Barcelona. And the goalkeeper was the only one keeping them at bay.

But Suarez's goal ended Simeone's side's dream and helped Barcelona turn the page on the tie, despite the controversy and drama to follow. Atletico were incapable of turning it around, although eventually got their equaliser on the night. Sergi Roberto and Suarez were sent off, a disaster.

Thanks to D10s (and Cillessen) Barcelona are in the final. Their fourth consecutive cup final. The third of Lucho's era. The first final in a season that is full of doubts about the team's performance.
