All the league titles belong to Lionel Messi
The Camp Nou celebrated yet another deserved league title. This was the 10th league victory during the Messi era. The best player in the history of football has made winning the league crown something routine. Alongside Messi, the titles just keep being added to FC Barcelona's transfer cabinet. It's become so common that the celebrations yesterday were seen as the first part of a historic treble rather than simply winning the league.
Messi is constantly pushing this side towards the Champions League. Winning trophies has become the norm since this alien arrived at Barcelona. The 26th league title in Barça's history, just like the 25th, 24th and 23rd.. all belong to Leo Messi. That is how they will always be remembered. The league now belongs to Messi.
BARÇA WON THE MATCH IN THE SAME WAY THEY WON THE LEAGUE
The match against Levante was intense, emotional and had it's heart in mouth moments. It was in many respects a blueprint of how this season has been for Barça: dominance in the first half despite not scoring, but it was Messi who made the difference. It was yet further proof that Barça, when so dominant, can be their own worst enemy. More than against any other opponent, the team must fight against those moments of relaxation. They can't afford to make those same mistakes in the Champions League.
