The last match took place on the 7th March when Barça beat Real Sociedad 1-0 thanks to a Messi penalty

Barça return to the Camp Nou 101 days after their previous match at home. That game took place on the 7th March when talk of a global pandemic had only just begun. One week later saw a state of emergency declared and Spain was placed in lockdown. Barça won that match against Real Sociedad thanks to a Messi penalty. Following Real Madrid's surprise 2-1 loss to Betis, it meant Barça were back at the top of LaLiga.

Tonight football will light up the Camp Nou in much different circumstances to the previous match. The stands will be empty, the stadium will be silent and the only noise will come from the players and coaching staff. It's a sad return for football but one we must still celebration with some sense of satisfaction. The Barça players, led by Messi, will be desperate to feel at home again, even in these strange circumstances. That's why tonight will be special.

After showing they were perfectly prepared to challenge for the title against Mallorca, Leganes will be another scalp that Barça are expected to claim. Barça have won 13 of their last 14 home fixtures (the other was a 0-0 draw against Real Madrid) and have scored 45 goals (averaging 3.2 per game). Nothing but a victory will do as they get ready to face a red-hot Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan on Friday.
