The Swedish striker wants to return this summer after retiring from international duty

Zlatan Ibrahimovic retired from national team duty with Sweden after Euro 2016. However Sweden have qualified for the World Cup and Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to get fit and play in it.

The 36-year-old said: "I miss the national team. I think I can perform well. We will see, it's a difficult question. I want to feel that I can perform. I don't want to go just because I am someone. The door is not closed to anything."

Zlatan spoke to Expressen about a return to Manchester United action. "I have been training with the team for 10 days, that feels good. When you've been away from the game for so long you have to train and feed, it's about getting the moves. Everything is getting new, but I'm struggling [with age]," he said.

"I'm training with the team, then what status I'm in when the Sevilla match comes, we'll see. I am available and optimistic.
