Messi showed his team-mates around the training ground
Lionel Messi as the protagonist in the first Argentina session at their training camp in Barcelona. Messi was the host for his countrymen at Barca’s training facilities, where Jorge Sampaoli’s side will work over the week ahead.
Messi and the Argentine national team begin work on Friday with a double session, ahead of the FIFA World Cup.
They will stay in Barcelona until June 8, when they head to Tel Aviv to face Israel on the 9th, before going to Russia.
Messi showed his team-mates around the facilities at the Joan Gamper complex, before they trained on the pitches used by the B team and youth sides.
Later they will train again in their second session, and 15 minutes of that will be open to the media to watch.
