The second goal for France was originally credited to Paul Pogba but has since been confirmed as an own goal by Behich

FIFA have decided that France's second goal was in fact an own goal by Aziz Behich.

The goal was originally credited to Paul Pogba but FIFA have since confirmed that while Pogba did get a touch, it wasn't going towards goal until it took a deflection off Behich. The power to re-award goals to players once a match has finished is a relatively new rule.

Pogba praised the use of VAR in France's match against Australia after his team was awarded a penalty and also said his teammates needed to be cautious ahead of their next opponents, Peru, who are "very strong". "I can say that it (VAR) helped the team a lot. If not, and we hadn't seen the video, we couldn't have said it was a penalty. It's important that VAR offered something positive for us. When we saw the video on TV we can see it's a clear penalty," Pogba added in the mixed zone at the Kazan Arena.
