Ashley Williams regrets his words blasting Luis Suarez
The Welshman took back his offensive comments about the forward
Wales defender Ashley Williams rectified his offsive words that he used against Luis Suarez in his book My Premier League Diary. He said the forward "doesn't deserve any respect" because he "fakes fouls more than any other player".
Williams, 33, said: "It's not like that in reality. Obviously I was angry and I made more of it than it was. I only wanted to say in that moment that he's the toughest forward I've faced in the Premier League."
Suarez and Williams clashed in PL action while the hitman was at Liverpool between 2010-2014, and they will meet again when Wales play Uruguay.
