Nelson Semedo is edging closer to Wolverhampton Wanderers move

The Portuguese full back was previously mentioned as 'untouchable' by Bartomeu but will be sold to raise funds

Nelson Semedo is on the verge of joining Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Portuguese defender is expected to join up with his compatriot Nuno Espirito Santos in a deal brokered by another compatriot Jorge Mendes.

Wolves are willing to pay around €30m for the right back.

Once the deal is complete, Barça could then try and steal Sergiño Dest from under Bayern Munich's nose. Norwich City's Max Aarons has been suggested as an alternative to cover the right back slot. Josep Maria Bartomeu said Barça would need to sell before they could buy. But he also said Semedo was 'non-transferable' this summer.

Negotiations are said to be very advanced and the deal could be completed early next week.
