Lacazette passes medical and will sign for Arsenal for €50 million

Alexandre Lacazette completed the final step of his transfer to Arsenal this afternoon. According to the BBC, the Olympique de Lyon forward has passed his medical with the London club and will sign for a fee of €50 million.

Lacazette was the second top scorer in Ligue 1 last season with 28 goals in total. The French forward accepted the offer from Arsenal although he would have preferred to have joined Atlético Madrid. However, the Madrid club have been banned from signing players until January, which led to the player changing his plans.
