UEFA named the referees for this week's Champions League games on Sunday as European football returns for the 2020-21 season this week.
One of the games of the week is Paris Saint-Germain's match against Manchester United at the Parc de les Princes, which takes place on Tuesday at 9pm.
The match will be refereed by Spanish official Antonio Mateu Lahoz. It's another demonstration of the reputation the Valencian referee has on the continent and at UEFA. He's also the Spanish referee, along with Carlos del Cerro Grande, chosen to go to the European Championships. It's not by chance he had one of last season's Champions League semifinals, too.
Meanwhile, the committee will meet on Monday to decide who referee Saturday's Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Lahoz is expected to be given the whistle for the game at Camp Nou. Sánchez Martínez and Jesus Gil Manzano are the other two options on the table.
