Marcelo trained normally and will be at the Camp Nou on Sunday, ready to play from the off in the Clasico. The Brazilian defender had to leave the pitch in the last minute of Tuesday's game agaisnt Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League, after a tough tackle. He worried that he had an ankle problem but in the end he recovered and can play against Barcelona.
"It's just a tough blow," said Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui after the Plzen game. "Not a muscular problem."
The Brazilian will line up at left-back, but Dani Carvajal will not make the game at right-back. His calf problem means he is Madrid's only absentee. Nacho is likely to line up at right-back with Raphael Varane coming back into the centre.
