Luis Suarez, 200 games and La Liga's top goalscorer
The Uruguayan hit a double as Atletico Madrid cruised past Elche
Luis Suarez is back and he's back among the goals. He netted two against Elche as Atletico Madrid won 3-1 at the Wanda Metropolitano, in his 200th La Liga game.
With the double, Suarez has scored a hugely impressive 151 goals in those games, and is the top scorer in the division this season with seven goals.
The first he finished in the 41st minute to beat Edgar Badia. The second came after a cross from Yannick Carrasco to kill off the game.
Last season Atletico's top scorer was Alvaro Morata on 12, and Suarez is well on the way to beating that. Joao Felix and Saul Niguez hit six each, with Diego Costa and Angel Correa on five.
