Reports in England suggest the forward could fancy a move to the UK capital

Neymar is Florentino Perez's obsession. The Real Madrid president has 300 million euros ready, or more, to sign him but saw the opportunity escape him this summer for the fifth consecutive year.

The Brazil forward decided to stay in France with Paris Saint-Germain unwilling to sell him, despite Madrid's attempts to convince them otherwise.

Another year of waiting looks set to complicate things further. According to the English press (‘Daily Express’), Neymar has fallen in love with London and is now open to moving to the Premier League if PSG finally grant him his wish of leaving.

Any transfer, though, would have to break the €222 million mark which the Ligue 1 champions paid to bring the Brazilian in from Barcelona in 2017.

"He loves England, but mainly London. He's been three or four times in the last 12 months. He always says that London has something," a source close to the player told the paper.

"The last time he kept ringing me up and begging me to join him because he loved it so much. He kept saying 'this place is amazing, this place is amazing'. He just loves London."

Chelsea and Arsenal have the financial power to sign him, given Tottenham are currently paying for their new stadium. Two rivals for Madrid to compete with next year if Neymar becomes available.
