Neymar tests positive for COVID-19 after returning to PSG
PSG didn't release the names of those who tested positive and the players might now miss the start to the French season
Neymar Junior is one of the three PSG players who tested positive for COVID-19 according to French outlet L'Equipe. The club announced that three players had tested positive but didn't reveal their names.
Alongside Neymar, the other players with COVID-19 are Angel di Maria and Leandro Paredes.
The three players will now self-isolate so the virus doesn't spread amongst more members of the squad.
Ligue 1 has already begun but PSG were given permission to postpone their start to the season following their involvement in the Champions League. Their first match takes place on the 10th September and all three will be serious doubts for the contest.
Thomas Tuchel is said to be upset at some of his players using this time to party rather than rest ahead of the new season. Neymar was in Ibiza alongside his son.
Neymar had earlier confirmed he would be staying at PSG this season.
