The Brazilian was angry about Barcelona's penalty

Neymar was angry when Kurzawa fouled De Jong to give away a penalty to Barcelona. The Brazilian forward wrote on Twitter “this penalty is a joke” and then wrote “shit goal” in fury as Barcelona took the lead on Tuesday night.

It was a reaction that could cost him if UEFA decide to sanction him for it. The UEFA disciplinary code prevents “insults or other conduct that violates the basic rules of conduct.”

He could be banned for up to two games if they punish him. In his favour, he deleted the tweets minutes after publishing them.

Neymar, in March 2019, criticised another “non-existent penalty” and also lashed out against VAR. UEFA banned him for three games. It was reduced to two by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
