Neymar, close to renewing his contract with PSG
The Brazilian forward has not signed on yet but is said to be nearly at a deal
Paris Saint Germain are on route to renewing the contract of star player Neymar Junior.
The Brazilian is in focus for both his contract situation and his performances. He was close to signing for Barca in 2019 but now looks set to stay in Paris beyond 2022, when his contract expires.
Fabrizio Romano, an expert o the matter, says that PSG and Neymar are a step away from sealing a deal until 2026, when he’ll be 34 years old.
The Italian journalist says that he will have an “enormous bonus” if PSG win the Champions League while he is at the club. It is the trophy they desire the most.
With the deal Neymar would end the speculation around him. PSG are also trying to keep Kylian Mbappe, who is the next on their agenda after sealing extensions for Juan Bernat and Angel di Maria.
