Leicester City defender Soyuncu on Barcelona's list of transfer targets
The Turkish defender has been tracked by the Catalans for many years
Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu in on Barcelona's agenda, according to his agent Mustafa Dogru, who says the Catalan club have tried to sign him before, in 2016.
"It's possible that he could go to play for Barcelona this summer," Dogru told AS. "Barça wanted to sign him when he was at Altinordu. We negotiated with them and they presented on offer."
On that occasion, Soyuncu and his agent preferred an offer from Freiburg: "We thought it would be best to go to a team where he would play every week and develop properly."
The Leicester centre-back has a contract until 2023 but is open to leaving this summer for the right offer -- most likely from abroad.
"I think only Liverpool could sign Caglar in the Premier League," he added. "But you can't forget the French teams. Paris Saint-Germain could be a surprise..."
