Concern at Las Palmas as Barça's Julián Araujo injured in Celta Vigo win

The right-back, on loan from Barcelona, was forced off in the first half of Monday's game

Problems for Julián Araujo. The Mexican international full-back, on loan from FC Barcelona to UD Las Palmas, has become a permanent fixture in García Pimienta's side, but on Monday he suffered a physical setback that threatens to change his current situation.

Araujo was once again in the starting line-up for Monday night's clash between UD Las Palmas and Celta Vigo, but he had to leave the game shortly after the half-hour mark due to injury.

The defender did not suffer any blow or sprain in any part of the game, so it is most likely to be a muscular problem. He was replaced in the 32nd minute by Álvaro Lemos.

Monday was Araujo's sixth consecutive start for UD Las Palmas. After not playing in the first game of the season and coming on at half-time on the second matchday, the Aztec player has convinced García Pimienta of his virtues and potential.

Las Palmas came from behind to beat Celta Vigo 2-1.
